Sculptural floral design for weddings in Italy

I am Federico Gasparrini. For weddings and destination weddings in Italy, I see floral design as a conversation between your story and the place you have chosen to celebrate it. My ikebana Sogetsu practice shapes how I observe lines, proportions and distances.

Composition study: violet flowers, slender leaves and a tubular vase. An exploration of floral language, not documentation of a completed wedding.

    Architecture, landscape, materials

Light, the proportions of a room and the lines of the landscape are starting points. Flowers, branches and vessels relate to their surroundings: I consider both the presence of a composition and the space it leaves open.

    From ceremony to table

The ceremony, tables and reception each have different rhythms and relationships. Compositions and installations can accompany these moments through a coherent floral direction, without repeating the same form in every setting.

    Shaping the project together

Our first conversation begins with the place, date and occasion, and what you imagine for the day. These details let us explore atmosphere, materials and proportions, towards a defined floral direction. Dialogue with you and the professionals involved keeps the floral project connected to the other choices for the wedding.
